From September 2012 until now I am a Privatdozent at the Department of Sociology of the University of Konstanz.
From September 2012 to September 2017 I was a postdoc researcher at the University of Konstanz working within the DFG Priority Program 1505 "Mediatized Worlds".
From October 2010 to September 2011 I had a post-doc fellowship at the Max-Planck-Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne (Germany).
From October 2007 to September 2010 I was member of the FB History & Sociology at the University of Konstanz (Germany).
From September 2005 to October 2007 I worked as assistant professor (WMA I) at the Department of Sociology at the University of Innsbruck (Austria).
Before I came to Innsbruck I was research assistant (January 2004 to September 2005) at the Department of Sociology at the University of Graz (Austria) and worked in a research project led by Christian Fleck.
From 2000 to 2001 I was teaching assistant (Studienassistent) at the Department of Sociology at the University of Graz (Austria).
Up from 2000 I co-operate with different institutions to fulfill leading functions in applied social science research projects (e.g. in co-operation with scan - agentur für markt- und gesellschaftsanalytik, Joanneum Research, management consultancies, SOS Children's Villages, etc.).
Between 2001 and 2004 I worked in several projects at the Universities of Graz and Vienna. In most of the cases it was my job to analyse quantitative data.
